We start the activities with a traditional haggis, tatties and neeps meal, then a history of Scottish whisky production and a look at how it’s made. The geographical and characteristic differences between the islands, highlands and the Lowland whisky.
Followed by 4 x 35ml glasses from four of our classic malts.
Guests are tutored through the five stages of appreciating Scotch whisky: colour, body, nose, palate and finish. The whiskies chosen illustrate regional differences, wood finishes, and differing ages of maturation
